Tiger Wood’s wife, Elin, gave birth to the couple’s first son yesterday. They named the child Charlie Axel Woods, who is the couple’s second child. Their daughter Sam Alexis is the couple’s first child. So instead of holding his 7th straight Buick Invitational trophy, Tiger got to hold his first son. Seriously, what’s the over/under on how many times the talking heads around all of the major TV networks are going to mention how many major championships this kid is going to win? I don’t think there is a number large enough. Baby Charlie and mom Elin are both doing well.
Tiger Woods welcomed his second child, a son, on Sunday. "Elin and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son, Charlie Axel Woods," the golfer, 33, wrote on his Web site. "Both Charlie and Elin are doing great...Sam is very excited to be a big sister and we feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family." See photos of adorable celebrity babies. Woods was due to compete at Torrey Pines in the final round of the Buick, which he's won six times -- but said last week that he'd skip the competition -- the first time he's missed it in 11 years -- if his wife went into labor. Can you guess which stars these bumps belong to? Woods and Elin Nordegren are already parents to daughter Sam Alexis, who was born on June 19, 2007 -- the day after he came in second at the U.S. Open
